Go West

GO WEST es un dúo de pop rock formado en 1982 por Peter Cox y Richard Drummie, dos amigos de la infancia que compartían su pasión por la música. Su nombre se inspiró en la canción Go West de los Village People, que a su vez se basó en el lema de la fiebre del oro de Estados Unidos. El dúo ganó el premio Brit al mejor artista revelación en 1986, gracias al éxito de su primer álbum homónimo y de singles como We Close Our Eyes, Call Me y Don’t Look Down. Entre sus mayores éxitos se encuentran King of Wishful Thinking, de la banda sonora de la película Pretty Woman, y Faithful, de su tercer álbum Indian Summer
