Laura Branigan

LAURA BRANINGAN fue una cantante y actriz estadounidense, nacida el 3 de julio de 1952 en Brewster, Nueva York. Su canción más famosa fue Gloria, una versión en inglés de la canción italiana de Umberto Tozzi, que la convirtió en una estrella internacional. También tuvo otros éxitos como Self Control, Solitaire, How Am I Supposed to Live Without You o The Power of Love. Su álbum más exitoso fue Self Control, que obtuvo un disco de platino. Falleció el 26 de agosto de 2004 a causa de un aneurisma cerebral
